Meet Lisa:
I’ve always thought that if something is worth celebrating, it’s worth celebrating in style. And there’s nothing I like better than working with our clients to create and put on events that reflect both their unique personalities. I take a genuine interest in my clients and their lives and happily work side by side with them to tailor their event to specifically match their visions. I also know that every event comes with its challenges and getting to know my clients inside and out lets me anticipate their needs and lets you rest assured that your event will come off flawlessly.
I started working in the events industry over eight years ago. Prior to opening my own business, I worked on the catering side of events. When I’m not planning or attending fabulous events, you can find me hanging out with my fantastic husband, Jim and our amazing children & grandchildren, and our beautiful pit bull Shila Lou.
A little personal note about me, I love a Starbucks mocha frappe to start my day & a Malibu & diet Coke to finish my evening. I am an active member of both Wedding Network USA and The Wedding Lounge, and have excellent relationships with vendors throughout Portland.
About Tilly:
My background in bridal fashion helps me to create unforgettable celebrations while bringing a fresh perspective to the mix. Out-of-the-box style, revolutionizing the way my couples look at their special day. My eye for detail and perfectionism with the love for producing stylish and memorable affairs is why I specialize in weddings, which are my true passion.
It is about celebrating your love from the moment we meet to the time of “I do.” It is my belief that every meeting should be held over a perfectly brewed coffee or an amazing cocktail. It is about relaxation and enjoyment, excitement and fun. It is my goal to pass on and share my passion with you. I have been thrilled to design, plan and coordinate weddings for so many wonderful couples and continually be in the presence of so much love. To be a part of all of this is what allows me to enjoy everyday doing what I love & to spend more time with my husband, three sons & our two dogs. I have an enthusiasm for shopping and love all things stylish and sparkly! I too have a weakness for a Starbucks Mocha Frappe in the mornings after walking my dogs & enjoying great tasting adult beverage with friends at our favorite happy hour locations.
About Mary:
My name is Mary Ridderbusch. I live in Portland and am in love with this city. Originally from Salem, I studied at The University of Oregon before moving up the I-5 corridor to the land of plaid and food carts. This will be my third wedding season working with Lisa and Tilly to create amazing events for wonderful people. In my other life I currently plan public events for 250-7,000 people, but before that I worked at the University of Oregon planning various events as a Resident Assistant and Conference Assistant. I’ve been planning things since I learned how to be bossy- so basically since I was born. I am an experienced groomsmen wrangler, mother of the bride soother, and put that here-not-there-er. I love couples who really want to make their wedding an expression of who they are as individuals and as a couple- small touches and unique ideas are what make an event memorable and helping to create those small pieces of someone’s day is one of my very favorite things. Bridal trends come and go but if you make your event truly your own it will always feel genuine and personal- to your guests on the day and to you and your love on your 50th.
